Standard Atmosphere for a reusable booster

Simulate a reusable booster live in your browser. This runs the real Standard Atmosphere solver — adjust the inputs, watch it respond instantly, and export the result. No install, no account.

Presets

The International Standard Atmosphere is the reference model all aircraft and instruments are calibrated against. Temperature falls steadily through the troposphere at 6.5 °C/km, then holds constant in the stratosphere above the tropopause. Pressure and density decay roughly exponentially — at airliner altitude the air is only a quarter as dense as at sea level.

Governing equation

Reading this result: Below the 11 km tropopause, temperature falls at 6.5 °C/km — here it is -50 °C and the air holds 34% of sea-level density.

About this simulation

The full Standard Atmosphere tool models a reusable booster with the same numerics engineers and scientists use — running entirely client-side. Change any parameter and the result updates in real time, so you can build intuition, check a design, or teach the concept without spreadsheets or installs.

Frequently asked questions

How do I simulate a reusable booster?
Open this page and use the live Standard Atmosphere tool below — set your inputs and the simulation runs instantly in your browser using real numerics. No install, no account needed.
Is it free?
Yes. The simulation runs free in your browser. A one-time unlock or a Pro plan adds advanced parameters, saved presets, data import, and clean exports.
Can I use my own numbers?
Absolutely — every input is adjustable, and with data import you can drive a reusable booster from your own measurements.
