Differential Drive for a delivery bot

Simulate a delivery bot live in your browser. This runs the real Differential Drive solver — adjust the inputs, watch it respond instantly, and export the result. No install, no account.

Presets

A differential-drive robot steers by spinning its two wheels at different speeds — like a tank. Equal speeds go straight, a difference curves the path, and opposite speeds spin in place. Its forward speed is the average of the wheels and its turn rate is their difference over the wheelbase.

Governing equation

Reading this result: The faster right wheel pushes the robot into an arc that curves toward the slower left side, with radius set by how close the two speeds are.

About this simulation

The full Differential Drive tool models a delivery bot with the same numerics engineers and scientists use — running entirely client-side. Change any parameter and the result updates in real time, so you can build intuition, check a design, or teach the concept without spreadsheets or installs.

Frequently asked questions

How do I simulate a delivery bot?
Open this page and use the live Differential Drive tool below — set your inputs and the simulation runs instantly in your browser using real numerics. No install, no account needed.
Is it free?
Yes. The simulation runs free in your browser. A one-time unlock or a Pro plan adds advanced parameters, saved presets, data import, and clean exports.
Can I use my own numbers?
Absolutely — every input is adjustable, and with data import you can drive a delivery bot from your own measurements.
